My Ramadhan Reads: reviu Rootop Rant

Baru jaa habis baca buku Rooftop Rant by none other than our mysterious Hlovate. Hendak dijadikan cerita, baca ni masa lepas habis PMR. Do a one shot reading so ingat-ingat lupa some part of the story. So, I decided to re-read it back for my #RamadhanReads in conjunction with #BookendsRamadan2020 also.

cover buku Rooftop Rant cetakan kesebelas, sebelas!!

Menempah nama di bawah naungan penerbitan Jemari Seni which sadly last operated tahun 2018 lepas. Rooftop Rant ni lah last buku Hlovate yang aku berjaya beli. Masa pergi PBAKL 2018 pun tanya guardian of JS's books dekat booth and itu jaa tajuk buku Hlovate yang tinggal. Habis kena sapu lah confirm oleh peminat tegar Hlovate, sebab its only through the book that fellow readers get to know the author's itself punya style of sharing the knowledge and telling stories.

One thing I really love about Hlovate's books, is by how tema penghijrahan diri tu selalu menjadi topik utama. Meski pun mengambil beberapa tahun lamanya to do so through the characters development itself, at the end of the day it will turned out to be worth it. True to be told, because changing oneself from the usual-old-self into something new of trying to be more better than before ain't easy. Plus, aku suka dengan so many references Hlovate buat let it be pasal pengetahuan agama yang acap kali termasuk diri sendiri macam ulang alik kena refresh or song references dia letak as the character punya personal fav songs throughout the episodes of their life, sharing knowledge of real professional career such as doctor, engineer, cartoonist, student master and so on. Also, quotes from buku-buku Harun Yahya such as below;

'Muslims spend 24 hours a day in a manner that will be pleasing to Allah. When rising in the morning, eating, working, going to school, engaging in business or shopping, they abide by the moral values of the Quran commanded by Allah and strictly avoid any behaviour which will not be pleasing to Him. The moral values of Islam cover not just part of life, but all of it, and even beyond.'

(Rooftop Rant; m.s. 410)

Other than that, it's through Hlovate ni lah I'm pretty sure most of the fans dapat belajar sikit-sikit about life experience with broads of background. Versus pasal skaters, Tunas&aA+bB pasal how kenangan crush waktu sekolah (lol) bring such impact to us and yet it end up pretty unexpectedly well, Anthem cerita pasal different background from different parts of the world can bring up the best of each person in togetherness (this is my personal favourite) and this;

Rooftop Rant tells us a story tentang betapa pentingnya institusi keluarga tu dalam membentuk jati diri seseorang. Lebih dan kurangnya tu belakang cerita, we got nowhere to run because air yang dicincang pasti tidak akan puts. Most importantly, it is within our hands to choose how we going to live our life.

To live well or live hell?
You choose.

Segala yang berlaku from our past life tu doesn't have to define ourselves of today pun, and perancangan Tuhan to allow us in meeting people that either bring such a big or little meaning into our life tu sangatlah misteri nan penuh berhikmahnya. Kunci resepi untuk menghadapi hari-hari kehidupan yang mendatang; terima masa lalu kita untuk berdamai dengan diri kita pada saat ini, keep on trusting the progress you've gone through and sabar.

And yeah, memetik mantera hikmah tuan punya penulis untuk buku ni,
Lontarkan....kalau tidak ia meracun. Kongsikan....walau hanya pada awan-awan.

Makanya, di sini saya kongsikan bersama untuk siapa-siapa yang terparkir baca entri tulisan kali ini agar dapat lah sikit kasi inspired untuk improve each other jadi better. Highly recommend to read this book and any other of Hlovate's book walaupun it takes time to adjust my reading with Hlovate's writing style that soon over the time I'm okay with it because yeay a light reading (kesan bila terbiasa dengan buku berbahasa lengkap lenggok berbaku).

Salam Jumaat untuk Ramadan ke-22!
